What is grass-fed tallow?
Tallow is rendered suet from grass-fed cattle. It is uniquely compatible with human skin cell biology, providing deep, bioavailable hydration.
Is tallow safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Our ancestral formulations are free from synthetic additives, making them exceptionally gentle and soothing for reactive skin types.
How long is the shelf life?
Our shelf-stable tallow products typically last 12 months.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight for optimal freshness.
We personally tested our SunShield to withstand hot summer boat days, but if its too soft for your preference, our jars are water-tight and can be kept in a cooler.
Why use tallow?
Grass-finished tallow is naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, along with nourishing fatty acids that closely resemble the skin's own oils. This allows it to deeply moisturize, support a healthy skin barrier, and leave skin feeling soft without synthetic ingredients.
What is your return policy?
We love and use our products daily and want you to love them too! If you are not completely satisfied with our product, please contact us immediately. We will issue a replacement or refund within 30 days of original purchase.
Are your products organic?
Yes! We only source cold-presssed 100% organic oils and beeswax. We locally source and house-render our grass-fed and finished tallow from the favorite local Organic butcher at Grassy Key Land & Sea.
What is the SPF level?
While not SPF rated, our SunShield uses non-nano zinc oxide to provide a reflective barrier. We offer two non-nano zinc formulations, approximately SPF 25 and SPF 50. For optimal protection, apply liberally and reapply after swimming or sweating.
Is it safe for kids?
Absolutely. Our pure, organic ingredients are safe for the most delicate skin. We recommend the Whipped Plain Tallow for infants and small children.
How should I store it?
Store in a cool, dry place. Since tallow is a natural animal fat, it will soften in heat. If it melts, simply stir and place in the fridge to reset the texture.

Rates
We offer standard flat-rate shipping of $8 on all domestic orders within the United States. Orders exceeding $75 qualify for complimentary standard shipping.
Delivery
Most orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Please allow 5-7 business days for standard delivery once your package has left our Key West studio.
International
We currently do not ship internationally. Please send a message if interested.
Returns
We love and use our products daily and want you to love them too! If you are not completely satisfied with our product, please contact us immediately. We will issue a replacement or refund within 30 days of original purchase. If product is damaged from shipping, please contact us within 48 hours.
